'Now there are varieties of gifts but the same spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates them in everyone. To each is given manifestations of the Spirit for the common good' (1 Corinthians 12:4-7)
Ultimately we hope that you will come and worship with us but there are many other ways to get involved and help us keep the church open. Whoever you are and whatever your gifts and abilities we would love to have you with us as we seek to build Christ’s Church and serve the people of God in this place. If you are housebound or far from us, just to hear from you via the contact form that we are in your prayers would mean a great deal.
There are many practical ways to help us. If you have skills and talents, however modest, that you would like to turn to
God’s use we always need help - not just with the traditional things such as flowers but also with other practical things such as:
- Pointing.
- Cleaning monuments.
- Keeping churchyard tidy.
- Bellringing.
- Researching Washington windows, Church heraldry and various Latin inscriptions etc.
